People Are Not Puzzle Pieces
They say Love is a puzzle
And people pieces
People fit. -clink-

They say
Theres someone out there for everyone.

You anxiously search
Frantically awaiting
Longing for that completion
Part of a whole.
And when you fail, you cry
To yourself: Am I that misshapen?
Am I the exception?
Am I so broken a piece
No One can make me whole?
They lie.
People are not pieces.

The evening descended upon the city like a shroud of fog, choking everything within its shadowy grasp. Everywhere I looked, city life went on. The horns of cars sang their full cacophonous symphony, conducted by the sounds of the engines behind. They told of the triumphs and defeats of everyday drivers, the melodic transposition of traffic.
Amidst this well of sound, I nearly missed a small mewling sound that originated from the alley beside me. Curiosity drove me to investigate, and the whine seemed to cease as I entered the alley.
As I crooned soft words of comfort, attempting to coax it out of hiding, I noticed the shad

Naturally, He Who Must Not Be Named (HWMNBN henceforth), could not possibly succeed at vengeance. That role of the dominion of the magical world would be impossible without a nose for such things. Additionally, HWMNBN faced many terrible obstacles, such as an inability to tell when he was being short-changed (he couldn't smell a rat), or relax (couldn't stop and smell the roses), or even make money off bounty hunting (couldn't catch whiffs of anything; and whiffs ARE quite valuable).
So it was probably a relief when he was stamped on by the possessed cows which had decided to form their own biker gang, especially without need of leathe

The Weird and Wonderous World of Babbling 1
On a particular day of 1666, the magic community decided to have a Christmas party. Naturally, the date could be any day, they weren't really that picky. It was the party part that was important. So it was decided that the date of the party to be on the 6th of June and that the theme would be Hellfire. The devil was of course, very pleased, and took the liberty of buying himself a suit. Well maybe "buying" actually means "forcing all the tailors in Hell to sew an acceptable suit and threatening them to eternal pain and suffering (or more of it in any case.)" Invitations were sent, and food was of course most "generously" supplied by the town
Regulus awoke to the smell of burnt air and cinders. HE opened his eyes and took a double take. The majestic room he had been in? It wasn't really a ROOM anymore. It was more like a monument to the danger of explosives. All around him, pieces of the ceiling smoked. The people on the podium before, all 10 of them, stood around him. Their eyes were wide open, their hands twisted, their mouths open in shock. He looked down and saw concentric circles, crackling with liquid energy, hissing at him continuously.
"William, calm him down!" the council leader William had referred to as Merlin said tersely.
"I warned you to be unsealed," Will
"The Test? What kind of ridiculous name is that?!" Regulus grumbled to himself as they walked down the gleaming hallway. All around him, portraits of people stared down at him, grinning almost in anticipation of the thing to come.
"Hey William, what is this Order you mentioned- the White Leopard was it?"
The jovial man paused for an instant and then replied, "We're a… gathering of… magic wielders."
"MAGIC IS RE-?!" Regulus burst out, then stopped himself. He HAD just created a room with nothing but his thoughts, and the knowledge had not stopped flowing into his brain. Who the hell was this Wesley The Great anyway? Some part of h
The silent pool breaks
Into infinite concentric ripples
Water seeping slowly down
I hear the water hit the pool
And break the silence
As it echoes around the cave
A reminder of the droplet's last act
Drip, the water continues to
Drop, into the pool and fade
Like the tears that wash away
The sadness of another day
Will never do
Yellow should be happy,
But he is not.
Incomplete and empty.
Devours all
Leaving naught in his path
But sweet memory of where it used to be
He trawls,
In his maze of a life
Searching for someone who will help him. All try.
All fail.
Even those brighter than he
Who shine like stars in the night,
Can only for a time send the ghosts of his past back into the confines of a mental cage.
Then they're gone.
Never to return
He is doomed to run on,
Driven to consume everything,
While fleeing his demons,
Until there's nothing left.
Then the game will start anew
Rainbows are beautiful things.
They arch majestically and proudly
Displaying their prowess for all too see.
Their fixed colours of red to violet
Always the same.
Only as beautiful as their structure allow.
Rainbows are brighter in my head,
They are different- they shine like diamonds
They are a million different colours put together
In a billion more orders.
They are as beautiful as anything
And as everything
Nightmares are darker in my head too.
There's no light in my head, no one to call for help when the jaws snap shut around your waist.
There's more fear and confusion and pain
There's the unknown
Out of sight and waiting

Dear Stars,
I have a bone to pick with you. You see, when I was six, I called myself the nowhere girl... and I coloured myself a soulmate. I made him on crumpled sheets, with broken pieces of crayon, on a playground that was too busy wondering whether growing up entailed stealing their mother's cigarettes and their father's dirty magazines (I suppose I was already wise enough to know that growing up meant choosing one of the many ways of breaking yourself in two.)
I hope you remember him, stars...he was important to me (My best friend threw that drawing away on my seventh birthday and told me that someone like me was not supposed to have su
The grass is greener on the other side?
But all I see are weeds.
Things have to get worse before they get better?
All the catastrophes happening in the world are still horrible.
Failure is not an option?
But you allow it to be a choice.
Money can't buy happiness?
The poor is still miserable without it.
Hard work can achieve great things?
But all I've seen so far are injuries.
There is no easy way out of life?
But Death is the easiest thing one can succeed in.
I don't mind believing,
Just for a little while,
In this world
Set aside for ourselves.
Curtained away in our room,
Entangled beneath the comforter and sheets,
Basking in the whispers of sweet nothings,
We're cocooned in love and fantasy.
I'll avow to you of tremendous feats.
Ones I'll never really accomplish,
From being there forever for all time,
To where there's nothing I wouldn't do.
In a world filled with your name
Between gasps... and moans...
Howled at the peak.
We're fortified behind a forgotten door.
But for now,
There's no more need for words.
Just for a little while longer,
Lets lie here.
If I had a siren's voice
Lovelier than singing birds and without compare,
Words would soar from my heart
On wings silkier than Aphrodite's hair.
Over the berating sea of meaningless vows you
Ride the thermals of my enchanting melody
Evading the boneyard beach of lost dreams
Caught in the allure of my threnody.
For you to be drunk on my lament;
Your heart held hostage with words and talon
The deluge of my love drowning you
As I squeeze your heart - and it bursts like a melon
Paradise, to cause you suffering and torment
Providing me a feast of revenge and sour triumphs.
Though I had wished to keep you prisoner with my songs
Such
